The Adriatic Sound Festival kicks off tomorrow in Fano. From June 12 to 14, 2026, Fano’s waterfront will become the stage for one of the most anticipated music festivals on the Adriatic coast. Whether you’re already in the area or making a last-minute trip, this guide has everything you need—the lineup, logistics, daytime activities, and where to stay.
Loft Verdemare is 6 km from the festival and still has availability. If you're still looking for a place to stay, you'll find the contact information at the bottom.
The program for the 2026 Adriatic Sound Festival
Friday, June 12 — Opening
The festival’s first evening kicks off along the Fano waterfront. The energy at the start is always special—it builds quickly, so enjoy the sunset over the Adriatic and let the music carry you away. Gates typically open in the late afternoon, and the main concerts begin after sunset.
Saturday, June 13 — Main Event
Saturday is the heart of Adriatic Sound. The headliners all perform on this night, the crowd is at its peak, and the atmosphere is typical of a major summer seaside event. Arrive early to get a good spot in front of the stage.
Sunday, June 14 — Grand Finale
The finale of Adriatic Sound brings the weekend to a spectacular close. Sunday evenings always have a special feel to them—the crowd is more relaxed, the music is more intense, and the sunset over the Adriatic on the final night is one of those moments you’ll never forget.
How to get to the festival
By car
Whether coming from the north or the south: take the A14 highway and exit at Fano. It’s about an 8-minute drive from the toll booth to the waterfront. Please note: during the festival, parking along the waterfront fills up quickly. It’s best to park further away and walk to the stage, or stay at Loft Verdemare and take a taxi in the evening.
By train
The Fano train station is on the Bologna–Ancona line and has excellent connections. It’s a 15–20-minute walk from downtown Fano to the waterfront, or you can take a taxi.
Things to do in Fano during the day
Morning — beach
The beaches in Fano are still quiet in June. Sassonia and Lido are just a few minutes away—a morning at the beach is the perfect way to start every day of the festival. The water is already pleasant in June, around 22–24°C.
Afternoon — Old Town
The historic center of Fano is worth at least half a day. The Arch of Augustus, the Roman walls, Piazza XX Settembre, and the cathedral are all interesting sights located close to one another. A scoop of artisanal gelato in the historic center is a must before the evening festival.
Trip to Gradara
If you have time, Gradara is just a 25-minute drive from Fano. The medieval village with its Malatesta castle is one of the most beautiful in the Marche region—a morning well spent, with a return trip in the afternoon to get ready for the evening.
Where to eat during the festival
The restaurants along Fano’s harbor are the perfect place to have dinner before the festival. Brodetto fanese, spaghetti with clams, and fried mixed seafood—the fish in Fano is incredibly fresh, and the prices are reasonable. Be sure to make a reservation in advance on festival nights, especially on Saturdays.
